The new program, called the Breeder Inspection Program, hopes to enforce conditions of
health, environment and business practices for Breeders.
Breeders who are compliant
with these conditions will be allowed to display a badge of approval in their
online listings.
Consumers will start to see the Calgary Humane Society approval badge on
listings later this month.
